Introduction

Open Top Container is also called an open top sea container, top open sea container, or open top shipping container which is suitable for loading large and large objects and heavy objects that need to be hoisted, such as glass plates.

This kind of container does not have a rigid top, but it has a canopy made of canvas, plastic cloth, or plastic-coated cloth supported by a foldable top beam. The top is covered with a waterproof cloth during shipment. The watertight requirement is the same as that of a dry cargo box. Loading and unloading goods on top of the box.

Open Top Container is also known as open top container, open top cabinet.

The container has no rigid roof, but a canopy made of canvas, plastic cloth or movable steel roof supported by a folding top beam.

It is suitable for loading large objects with high volume and heavy objects to be hoisted, such as glass panels, etc.

It is necessary for some special varieties, as it can be loaded from the top, especially for items with wide variations in machinery or volume.

Open Top Container is available in 20 feet and 40 feet.

20-foot Open Top Container:

The content volume of 5.89 meters × 52612.32 meters × 2.31 meters, the door is 2286mm × 2278mm, the distribution gross weight of 20 tons, volume of 31.5 cubic meters.

40 feet Open Top Container:

The content volume of 12.01 meters × 2.33 meters × 2.15 meters, the door is 2286mm × 2278mm, the distribution gross weight is 30.4 tons, volume of 65 cubic meters.

The prototype container manufactured in accordance with this specification will be tested by manufacturer under the supervision of classification society.
